Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 18, 2026
free-converter.online ("we", "our", "the Service") is operated by kwezitgames.com. We respect your privacy. This policy explains, plainly and briefly, what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
We collect the absolute minimum data needed to operate and improve the Service:
- Anonymous page actions — which tool was used (e.g., "URL Decode") and when.
- Country-level location — derived from your request for basic analytics (e.g., "visitor from Germany"). We do not store, resolve, or associate IP addresses with these records.
That is all.
What we do not collect
- We do not store your IP address.
- We do not collect precise location (city, coordinates, postal code, etc.).
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier.
- We do not require sign-up or create user accounts.
- We do not use tracking cookies for analytics or profiling.
- We do not store IP addresses in a persistent or identifiable form.
- We do not track users across websites or build behavioral profiles.
Legal basis for processing
We process limited data based on:
- Legitimate interests — to operate the Service, understand usage, and prevent abuse.
How client-side tools work
The vast majority of our tools (URL Decode, JSON Beautify, Base64 Encode/Decode, YAML ↔ JSON, UUID Generator, and so on) run entirely inside your browser. The input you paste and the output produced never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
How server-side tools work
A small number of tools (such as AI-based tools) require processing on our server. For these tools:
- Your input is sent to our server only for the duration of processing.
- It is held in memory just long enough to produce a result.
- Once the result is returned to you, the data is discarded.
- We do not log, store, analyze, share, or train on your submitted content.
Each tool that requires server processing is clearly marked with a "Processed on our server" badge on its page, so you always know which category it falls into.
Cookies and third parties
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may set its own cookies and collect data independently from us, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. This is the only third-party service embedded on our pages.
You can manage your ad personalization settings at any time through Google Ads Settings.
International data transfers
Third-party services (such as Google AdSense) may process data outside your country of residence, including in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection.
We do not control such processing. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details.
Data retention
- Anonymous action + country records are kept for a maximum of 90 days for operational and anti-abuse purposes, then automatically deleted.
- Inputs and outputs of server-side tools: not retained — see above.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding any data about you:
- Right of access — request a copy of any data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of data.
- Right to restriction — limit how we process data.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object — object to our processing of your data.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent.
Given how little data we collect (anonymous action records and country only — no personal identifiers, no IP addresses), most of these rights have limited practical application: we cannot identify which anonymous records belong to any specific person. However, if you believe we hold any data about you, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
